How to tell if jewelry is well-made
Why is some jewelry more durable than others?

A little while ago, my daughter handed me a pair of earrings that had fallen apart (again) and said, “Mom, can you fix these?”
She looked guilty — probably because I’ve fixed more of her store-bought jewelry than I can count. Then she asked the question that made me smile:
“Why do the ones I buy in stores keep breaking?”
Fair question, right? She wanted to know how to tell if something’s made well before she buys it.
So I showed her exactly how to spot the difference between something that’ll last... and something that’ll be in the repair pile next week.
And then it hit me — maybe you’d like to know that too!
So I made a short, super-easy video tutorial that walks you through it visually (because let’s face it, it’s easier to see than to read about).
